Belle on Nylon
Our cover girl is smart, together, and hiding secrets of Robert Pattinson. "This is the one," said NYLON editor Marvin Scott Jarrett. He was just back from a screening of PUSH, the sci-fi flick starring Dakota Fanning and Camilla Belle, set to release in '09. "This is the movie that's going to take Camilla into mainstream stardom."
To be fair, she was kind of already there: A lucrative thriller (When A Stranger Calls) as her second movie. An ad campaign with Vera Wang. A Jonas Brother boyfriend, and the tween hate mail that came with it.
Now PUSH is finally out - Stephanie saw it and thought it was like Heroes, the Movie - and Camilla scores our cover spot for a second time.
We won't tell you everything, but here's a list of her greatest hits from the interview:
She wasn't crazy about the mammoth action film 10,000 BC.
"The work was frustrating," she concedes. "I felt like a puppet at times. I just had to realize, "OK, I'm not going to be challenged as an actress.' You have to approach it in that sense: 'This isn't an acting piece, it's a business choice.'''
She's holding a place in Columbia's freshman class until she has time to actually go there.
"I made the decision to focus on work, and take advantage of this time. But school is there, and I think the most important thing is to continue learning."
Her next director is Bruce Willis!
"I was actually really surprised," she says. "He's very passionate about the actors. He just wants to spend all the time with us, and we just talked and talked, all about developing relationships and developing the backstory."
Rob Pattinson vented to her about Twilight's rigorous "media training" with the movie studio.
"My friend Rob [Pattinson], for that whole Twilight nonsense, the studio was having them take all these classes. It was the most frustrating thing in the world because they want you to speak like someone else, not yourself. It's so silly. And I would be frustrated, too. I couldn't answer questions any other way than how I would answer them."

"Twilight" star caught SPITTING
Taylor Swift on Jonas Brothers Soundtrack, Cameo in Hannah Montana Movie
Seems like Taylor Swift can't get away from her ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas. Not only did she appear with him at Dick Clark's New Year's Eve special, she's now going to be on the soundtrack for the Jonas Brothers "3D Concert Experience." Swift did a few shows with the Jonas Brothers last summer when the movie was filmed. Billboard says the album includes a duet with Swift and a remake of Shania Twain's "I'm gonna Getcha Good." The soundtrack is set for release on Feb. 24.
Speaking of Taylor Swift... Dolly Parton, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift will all be making guest appearances in the upcoming "Hannah Montana" movie, starring Miley Cyrus. Parton will be playing Miley's aunt, Dolly Stewart. Rascal Flatts and Swift are reportedly playing themselves in the film. Billy Ray Cyrus will continue his role from the series and in real life as her dad. In the movie, Miley's character tries to balance her two lives, one as a student and the other as a famous pop singer. Much of the shooting for the film took place in Miley's hometown, just outside Nashville. "Hannah Montana: The Movie" premieres in early April.

Will Smith takes on Obama?
Will Smith has played Muhammad Ali, a man in black keeping the world safe from alien invaders, the last person on Earth and, in his new movie "Hancock," a boozy superhero with image problems. But is the king of the Fourth of July opening ready for the biggest role of his career: Democratic presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama? In a word, yes.
"It's right here," Smith said, holding up his legendarily prominent ears, which are not unlike Obama's lobes. "That's the key. That's the key. America loves ears, you know? Mickey Mouse started it; Goofy and Dumbo followed behind. And America just loves the ears."
All kidding aside, Smith said he's more than willing to sign on for a biographical retelling of the Obama life story, but, he said, not until the tale has a Hollywood-worthy third act. "As soon as he writes the end of the story," Smith said. Unlike some of his fellow action brethren, though, such as California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Smith said he's content to keep his political aspirations confined to the screen. Reminded that Obama has yet to pick a running mate, Smith demurred, saying that's not his game.
"Naw, I ... you know, I enjoy being in the movie-star position," he said. "Movie stars tend to have a little bit higher approval rating than politicians."
Back in November, during his MTV/MySpace Presidential Dialogue, Obama was asked who he would like to see play him in a biopic. After asking forum co-host and MTV VJ Sway if he'd be interested in the gig — who turned him down when Obama said he'd have to get a haircut — the senator said Smith would be the right choice, if only because "his ears match mine."

Mr. President retakes oath
In a highly unusual move, US President Barack Obama retook the oath of office from Chief Justice John Roberts after stumbling when he originally swore-in to become the 44th US president on Tuesday.

The president retook the oath in the Map Room of the White House one day after his inauguration at the US Capitol.
"Are you ready to take the oath?" Roberts asked him.
"I am, and we're going to do it very slowly," Obama said, reciting the oath flawlessly and taking 25 seconds.
"We believe that the oath of office was administered effectively and that the President was sworn in appropriately yesterday," said White House Counsel Greg Craig.
"But the oath appears in the Constitution itself. And out of an abundance of caution, because there was one word out of sequence, Chief Justice Roberts administered the oath a second time."
Obama was first sworn in by Roberts on Tuesday, resting his left hand on Abraham Lincoln's Bible and raising his right hand to deliver the words that formally made him the successor to former president George W. Bush.
But things didn't go exactly as planned for the swearing-in of the country's first African-American commander-in-chief.
Under the gaze of more than two million crowded onto Washington's National Mall and millions more around the world, Obama said: "I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear that I will execute the office of president of the United States faithfully, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the constitution of the United States.
"So help me God."
As specified in the US Constitution, the word "faithfully" precedes the phrase "execute the office," but the chief justice, in his first presidential inauguration, read that part of the oath incorrectly.
Obama paused, apparently realizing something was wrong, and after an awkward moment, Roberts repeated himself, but the chief justice stumbled again. Obama eventually recited the line as Roberts originally said it.
On Tuesday, Jeffrey Rosen, a US constitutional law expert and professor at George Washington University in Washington, said stumbling over the oath had "no impact. News flash: He's president."
Rosen pointed to the 20th amendment of the US Consitution, which provides that the president and vice president's term begins at noon on January 20th.
"Lots of people have flubbed the oath, perhaps most memorably Chief Justice (William Howard) Taft, who sort of riffed and then made up his own" upon swearing in then-president Herbert Hoover, said Rosen.
Where the oath calls for the president to pledge to "preserve, protect, and defend" the constitution, Taft said "preserve, maintain and defend" -- injecting an entirely new word, while Roberts merely got the order wrong.

'Amy' in trouble: Spears' song controversy
The Parents Television Council is warning parents about the Britney Spears song "If U Seek Amy" and urging radio stations not to broadcast it because the nonprofit organization believes it "would violate the broadcast indecency law" if aired between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Saying the title phrase quickly out loud produces a sound akin to spelling out the F-word, said PTC president Tim Winter. "There is no misinterpreting the lyrics to this song, and it's certainly not about a girl named Amy," he said of the track, the third single from Spears' new Jive album, "Circus."
"It's one thing for a song with these lyrics to be included on a CD so that fans who wish to hear it can do so, but it's an entirely different matter when this song is played over the publicly-owned airwaves, especially at a time when children are likely to be in the listening audience," Winter says.
Founded in 1995, the PTC describes itself as "a nonpartisan education organization advocating responsible entertainment." Jive was unavailable for comment on the PTC's advisory.
The controversy isn't stopping U.S. radio from playing "If You Seek Amy." Six top 40 stations have the song in rotation this week, enough to place the track at No. 92 on the Billboard Pop 100 chart. Leading the pack is WFLZ-Tampa, Fla., which has played it 19 times.
"We're confident the version of the song we air is not crossing any lines," program director Tommy Chuck told Billboard.com, adding that WFLX plays a Jive-created edit of the song that changes "Seek" to "See" as well as a jokey version in which morning host MJ shouts his name every time the word "Amy" appears.
Digitally, "Amy" has sold 107,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

EX-clusive: Austin MacDonald is just getting started
If you haven't heard of Austin MacDonald yet, you're going to now. Austin is one cool dude who's passions include martial arts and acting. His current resume includes starring in the Family Channel/Nick movie series, Roxy Hunter (which stars Aria Wallace) which is very popular with the young ones. Roxy (Wallace) is a young super-sleuther. Austin's still on his way to becoming a big star, but he's getting there. 'still.a.rockstar' had the chance to EXCLUSIVELY have a short interview with him, and here's what he had to say:
How did you get started in acting?
I started out doing a little modeling when I was a baby, but stopped around 4 years old. My mom was a model before I was born so my sister picked it up and did a little TV work as well. I met my manager through my sister. She set up a meeting in her office and well, here I am today!
Who would be your dream co-star in either a movie or television show?
If I was starring with a girl it would be Miranda Cosgrove. Of course I have already had the opportunity to work with one of my best friends Aria Wallace. If it was a guy, definitely Matt Damon!
Do you do anything else besides acting?
Where do I start? I take singing lessons, love video games. My passion is martial arts though. I am level 2 Krav Maga, Level 2 XSD, am working at level 2 Wu Shu (kung fu) and am training with these amazing guys from Fast Motion Media Group doing Stunts working on fight choreography and wire work. I also do Acro with some great tricking and b-boy friend’s. I would love to be the Canadian James Bond one day and do all my own stunts. I would love to take up guitar but don’t know where to fit it in my schedule yet!!
Do you have any advice for people who want to get into acting?
Do your homework!! Never sign with someone who wants lots of money from you up front. Train!! Take lessons, they don’t have to cost a fortune to start. Do local theater, get good pictures and if you are lucky enough to have a manager like mine listen to their advice about everything from braces, hair, what you need to work on and your pic selections.
It is not easy to be in this biz, lots of competition and you have to be able to take criticism and not be hurt by it. You have to believe in yourself first so that when mean or disrespectful things are said or written about you, you don’t take it personal and are hurt by it. OH, directors can get pretty loud sometimes when it’s getting late!
It is a lot of late nights, really cold or really hot sets, memorizing lines, missing outings with friends. But the rewards are amazing. The people you meet, the places you get to go. I love it but I have a really supportive group behind me so that makes a word of difference.
Thanks Austin MacDonald!

Hannah Montana Movie Date CONFIRMED

Patrick Swayze's cancer
Patrick Swayze said he was scared, angry and "going through hell" with pancreatic cancer, but a year after being diagnosed, he was determined to keep going.
"You can bet I'm going through hell," the "Dirty Dancing" star said in his first television interview since his January 2008 diagnosis with one of the most deadly forms of cancer.
"There's a lot of fear here ... Yeah, I'm scared. Yeah, I'm angry. Yeah, I'm (asking) why me?" Swayze, 56, told Barbara Walters in an interview to be broadcast on ABC on Wednesday.
Swayze, who was forced last month to deny tabloid stories that he was near death, told Walters that doctors diagnosed stage 4 pancreatic cancer last January, with the cancer having already spread to his liver.
The American Cancer Society says pancreatic cancer has only a five percent, five-year survival rate.
Swayze said his response was "Watch me! You watch what I pull off."
The actor and dancer underwent an aggressive course of chemotherapy and treatment with an experimental drug. He then stunned the industry by starting to film a new TV detective series "The Beast" while undergoing chemotherapy and without taking pain-killers.
"I think everybody thought I was out of my mind, you know, thinking I'm gonna pull off a TV show," he said of the 12-hour work days, mostly in cold, Chicago night conditions.
"When you're shooting you can't do drugs," Swayze said of his decision not to take pain-killers. "I can't do Hydrocodone or Vicodin or these kinds of things that take the edge off of it, 'cause it takes the edge off of your brain."
In five months' filming, Swayze missed a day and a half of work. "The Beast" starts airing on the A&E cable TV network on January 15.
Swayze is known around the world for his role as the dance instructor in the 1987 coming of age movie "Dirty Dancing" which inspired hit stage shows in London, Australia and Canada. He went on to star with Demi Moore in 1990 film romance "Ghost."
Married to wife Niemi for 33 years, Swayze said he was stunned by the outpouring of love from fans since his diagnosis, although he does not want to be a poster-boy for living with cancer.
"I keep dreaming of a future, a future with a long and healthy life, not lived in the shadow of cancer but in the light," Swayze told Walters.
"What winning is to me, is not giving up, is no matter what's thrown at me, I can take it. And I can keep going," he said.

LiLo and Sam take it out on each other
Lindsay Lohan has reportedly walked out on Samantha Ronson.
The 'Mean Girls' actress was spotted leaving the Los Angeles home she shares with the DJ carrying a large bag shortly after the pair had a vicious public argument.
The row started on December 31 at Miami's SET nightclub, where the pair exchanged foul-mouthed tirades in front of shocked partygoers.
It continued as the pair moved on to Mansion club, where Lindsay eventually stormed out - with the fight continuing in an alley behind the club.
Lindsay, 22, reportedly shouted at Samantha: "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!"
The fight then moved to the couple's hotel - where things became so heated the pair exchanged blows in a corridor until security intervened.
An onlooker said: "The screams and crashing from their room were heard all over the hotel. They spilled out into the hallway at 11am on New Years day, kicking and punching each other.
"People were watching. They were going for it - it was scary. Lindsay seemed unstable. At one point she dropped to her knees and cried, 'Why are you doing this to me?' Sam just said, 'I don't know you.' "
The couple are also said to have destroyed their hotel room during the fight, with security guards reportedly taking photographs of the damage.
Lindsay was still visibly upset at the airport as she and Samantha, 31, prepared to return to Los Angeles.
Another source said: "Lindsay was so inconsolable the flight attendants asked if she'd like to disembark."
A spokesperson for Lindsay denied the couple had split, saying: "There was an argument - I don't know the details - but they left for Los Angeles together and it's fine."

It continued as the pair moved on to Mansion club, where Lindsay eventually stormed out - with the fight continuing in an alley behind the club.
Lindsay, 22, reportedly shouted at Samantha: "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!"
